| On April 18th and 19th of this year, the Herring Service Group decided to take a road trip to Camp Wesley Pines, one of our United Methodist Camps in Mississippi. After driving through torrential rains to get there, the sky cleared just as they approached the camp, giving way to a glorious weekend. As Laurie Herring noted, “We were put up and fed free of charge, and were basically treated like royalty. We worked most of Saturday on grounds-keeping projects, interrupted only by the occasional water fight.
